"Your Keys Your Crypto" is a variation of the saying "Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins". "Not Your Keys, Not your Coins" is an expression used to signify that you don't truly own your cryptocurrency unless it's stored in a digital wallet where you control the private keys. Your Keys Your Crypto means just the opposite, & signifies that you are in complete control of your private keys & therefore are practicing proper self-custody of your crypto assets.

I'm New To NFTs, How Do I Mint?

New to NFTs? No worries, here are some steps on what you need to do to Mint your own YKYC NFT.

  1. Download the MetaMask extension for the Chrome/Brave browser or use the mobile app. This will allow you to interact with the Ethereum blockchain & use 1 of the minting buttons on this page.
  2. You can purchase Ethereum from Binance.com, Kraken.com or Send Ethereum to MetaMask from another exchange/dApp.
  3. Click on the Connect Wallet button in the Mint a YKYC NFT section on this page to connect your wallet. Once connected, decide how many NFTs you would like, you will then be able to mint after signing & approving your transaction in MetaMask. Note: There is a gas fee associated with each transaction that is not included in the minting cost.
  4. Once you have minted, your NFT will be sent to your wallet as an ERC-721 token & include metadata with the location of the image file. Your NFT will be also available to view on OpenSea & IPFS.

Why Should I Mint?

There are a limited amount of YKYC NFTs available to mint, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each NFT will serve as a tokenized digital collectible & allow you to join a community that's focused on spreading awareness of the 1st principles of crypto. Minting also supports an independent artist & developer who may or may not use some of the funds to build additional exciting crypto projects. The initial utility for these NFTs will be pfp's, meme's, community membership & ownership rights associated with each image. You are also going to get a 1:1 copy of your NFT on the PulseChain blockchain if you mint before the PLS mainnet launches. Additional functionality may or may not be added at a later date, but there should be no expectation of profit from the work of others & an expressed agreement that no investment contract is being offered, as nothing is promised after minting.

THIS AGREEMENT (the "Agreement") is made and entered into effective as of the date of purchase (the "Effective Date"), by and between the dev (hereinafter known as the "Licensor") and the NFT Buyer (hereinafter known as the "Licensee") of the copyrightable permissible work ("Permissible Work")

Definitions

"Agreement" means the entire content of this document.

"YKYC" shall mean and refer to Licensor's creation of a unique digital collectible, also known as a NFT, that is managed entirely by the Ethereum network and the respective smart contract on that network.

"NFT" shall mean any blockchain-tracked, non-fungible token, also referred to as a 'token.'

"Smart Contract" shall mean lines of code or a transaction protocol that is intended to automatically execute, control or document basic relevant events and actions according to the terms of an agreement. The code and the agreements contained therein exist across a distributed, decentralized blockchain network.

"Permissible Work" shall mean the visual, literary, dramatic, artistic, and subject-matter works and content tied to Your Keys Your Crypto NFTs.


Awareness of Risks

You warrant that you understand that NFTs, cryptocurrency tokens and initial coin offering (ICO) projects are inherently highly risky and extremely speculative. They are unregulated, in an early stage of development, with experimental software and business models, no governmental protection of your investment, dramatic price volatility, the strong potential for inadequate documentation, and a high risk of fraud.

You should only invest in NFT, cryptocurrency token or ICO projects if you have substantial technical knowledge and understand the specifics of the offering. Careful due diligence should be undertaken on the projects, network, tokens, and team behind any NFT, token sale or ICO. You must understand that your and others’ investments may not result in a usable or valuable NFT or token and you may lose the entire value of your investment.


Limitations of Liability for Gas, Failed Transactions, Smart Contract Bugs

Participants in minting Your Keys Your Crypto NFTs agree to hold the project developer harmless for any losses incurred as a consequence of minting an NFT. These potential losses include any gas fees for failed transactions, any excessive gas fees charged due to website or smart contract bugs, and any loss of any NFT due to website or smart contract bugs.


No Guarantees or Future Promises

You agree that when you mint a Your Keys Your Crypto NFT from the initial launch of 5555 NFTs, all you are guaranteed to receive with your initial purchase, whether through primary or secondary channels, is a YKYC token. Any future benefits are ancillary to the mint and are not to be taken into consideration with your initial purchase. You agree that you are not relying on any future commitments by the developer after launch.

No Guarantees of Value

Your Keys Your Crypto NFTs were created purely as collectibles, not as investment vehicles or substitutes for cryptocurrency. There is absolutely zero promise or guarantee that these NFTs will subsequently retain monetary value in fiat, cash or cryptocurrency.

Class Action Waiver, Jurisdiction and Choice of Law

You agree to waive any class action status, and any legal dispute around Your Keys Your Crypto NFTs project which you may choose to bring can only be done on an individual basis.

Experimental Technologies

Certain transactions, including but not limited to primary sales, secondary market sales, listings, offers, bids, acceptances, and other operations through the Website utilize experimental smart contract and blockchain technology, including non-fungible tokens, cryptocurrencies, consensus algorithms, and decentralized or peer-to-peer networks and systems. Holders acknowledge and agree that such technologies are experimental, speculative, and inherently risky. Holders acknowledge and agree that the NFTs may be subject to bugs, malfunctions, timing errors, hacking and theft, or changes to the protocol rules of the Ethereum blockchain (i.e., “forks”), which can adversely affect the smart contracts and may expose you to a risk of total loss, forfeiture of your digital currency or NFTs, or lost opportunities to buy or sell NFTs. The developer assumes no liability or responsibility for any such smart contract or related failures, risks, or uncertainties.

Bonus and rewards

From time to time the developer may distribute bonuses and awards to Holders. It's the Holders responsibility to inform themselves and comply with their own country of residence's laws and requirements. The Developer may not be held responsible for Holders breaking investment and tax laws.

Disclaimers subject to change

The sale or use of NFTs or virtual coins could be prohibited under applicable securities law. It is possible that existing regulations could be applied, or new regulations could be enacted, affecting blockchain technology-based applications and sales of NFTs or virtual coins such that any aspect of NFT projects could be negatively affected, requiring its modification or discontinuance and potentially resulting in the loss of tokens or token value.

In an effort to always be as compliant as possible with new practices, The Developer reserves the right to adapt and adjust these disclaimers, practices, promises and roadmap at any time it deems necessary.


License

‍Ownership Rights. Licensor represents to be the sole author and creator of the Permissible Work and that the Permissible Work is an original work. Licensor agrees to have the sole and exclusive right to enter into this Agreement and the full warrant and authority to grant the rights granted hereby. 


Non-Exclusive. Licensee acknowledges and agrees that the license granted herein is non-exclusive and that Licensor may license others to use the Permissible Work. Licensor shall have the right to assign and/or license its rights and obligations under this Agreement and all its right, title, and interest in the Permissible Work without the consent of Licensee.


Scope. Licensor hereby grants to Licensee, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, a non-exclusive license to use the Permissible Work in the course of personal and commercial use purposes. The license covers the non-exclusive right to reproduce, sell and distribute the Permissible Work, including reprints, translations, photographic reproductions, microform, electronic form (offline, online), or any other reproductions of similar nature in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.  Licensor grants you a non-exclusive worldwide license to use, copy, and display the purchased Art for the purpose of creating derivative works based upon the Art 


Assignment. This Agreement (including, without limitation, the license granted hereunder) is personal to Licensee and shall not be assigned or transferred by Licensee, except to a new purchaser of all or substantially all of the Permissible Work licensed to the Licensee. Any other attempt on the part of Licensee to assign, sub-license, or transfer Licensee's rights under this Agreement, except as provided herein, shall be invalid and void. 


Accordance. Licensee desires to obtain, and Licensor has agreed to transfer to and authorize the use of the Permissible Work by Licensee in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Licensee's purchase and use of the Permissible Work, in whole or in part, indicates their assent to the terms and conditions of this Agreement; and acknowledgment to have read and be legally bound by the terms of this Agreement.
